Multi-colored, egg-shaped pebbles
pave the road in front of me
So profoundly astonishing
these inscriptions comfort me
you humans have such interesting ways
to alleviate the pain
of existence
1 pills, 2 pills, 10 pills oh...
I don't know what the fuck is going on
I'm seeing things I thought I
Never see
My mind is stuttering
I feel another presence here
the algid hand I've longed for
Nothing can help me
Distancing myself... Time fleeting
Alive? Alive? Alive?!

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
